this is a very nice ed foley sn# 139 herringbone with alpine spruce (german spruce) top and indian rosewood back and sides..for those familiar with foley guitars they need no further introduction!!!...for those not familiar with ed foleys guitars please visit the foley website for info on his guitars..i purchased this guitar from mr foley and you can see more pics of this exact guitar on his website in the previously sold section (#139 kelvin hardin) the list price for this guitar was $7000.00 the guitar was built around 1992 or 1993? making it around 18 to 19 years old and the guitar is in super condition..there are no major blemishes to the guitar such as bumps/scratches/etc. there is some finish checking here and there but is to be expected for one of this age..the spots you see on the top are not scratches or blemishes but is bearclaw in the spruce....the bridge pins shown in the pics are not the originals but i have since reinstalled the original pins (basicaly just like these)....go ahead and research his guitars and you will find overwhelming compliments about his guitars ,there have been many top artist whome have purchased eds guitars such as bill monroe/george strait/etc. you can see the extinsive list of foley owners on his website..so this is your chance to own one without having to mortgage the house to do so!!..... if you have any questions or have any interesting trades on bluegrass guitars/banjos/mandolins just message me!,thanks

well if your looking for a good ol u.s.a. built a style mandolin and dont want to have to morgage the house to get then here is a goodun!!,this is a granson a-1 mandolin built by ron nichols from hampton cove alabama,ron built this in 2005,the mandolin has straight grain spruce (some flame on back) back/neck/sides with spruce top (type spruce is unknown?) it has a rosewood fingerboard,the mandolin sounds great and is very comfortable to play,it does have some finish checking but i myself think it just adds charichter!!,also in pic #6 there is a small area of finish coming off near the body on the neck,there is absalutly no crack/or wood damage there but just finish flaking off!,i am looking to trade this for a bluegrass dreadnaught /5 string banjo or maybe an f style mandolin!...if you have any trade offers just shoot me a message,this will come in a new hardshell case (not shown),if you have any questions feel free to ask,thanks

this is an older (made in korea) kentucky km-675 mandolin i just recently aquired,the mandolin is in overall good condition with just a few minor things i guess i need to mention,there is a small area of discoloration below the f hole in picture #5 it looks as if it could possibly be because from someones playing finger resting on it? i dont know for it may have came that way? also in the last pic you will see in the center of the picture at the edge of the f hole a small repaired area and looks to have possibly been done at the factory? again i am not sure,what makes me think these 2 issues was like this when the mandolin left the factory was because on the back of the headstock (picture #8) it is marked used indicating to me that maybe it was marked this way from the factory because it was not quite perfect? but all in all this would be a great mandolin for an itermediate player!,so if you have any questions feel free to ask,also this does come in the hardshell case shown in the pics,i would consider trades on other mandolins,guitars,banjos,dobro or stand up bass,thanks and good luck

Akira Tsumura will always be remembered for his amazing "1001 Banjos," a 6-color Swiss-printed 19-pound compendium of all-things-banjo. But "1001" is expensive. However, there is a fun and cheap(er) alternative: his book titled "THe Tsumura Collection," which is a compressed version of "1001 Banjos." The book is in excellent (slightly used) condition. The slip-cover has a couple of wrinkles, but the book itself is pristine. This book will no doubt appreciate in value, as there are few-to-none on the market. If you're a banjo afficianado, this book -- which shows in beautiful photos all the "hot" banjos made by Fairbanks, Cole, Vega, Bruno, etc. -- will make you drool and pine. This is a squareneck Morgan Monroe dobro, MSQ-100 SB. I acquired it earlier this year and have just decided the dobro is not for me. It is in basically perfect condition. There may not be a single scratch on it, just some finger smudges i can wipe off. The stock bridge has been upgraded and it definitely improved the sound. Has a set of D'Addario EJ42s on it as well. Included are a shubb slide with the cool looking wood handle, a custom-made capo, and a brand new TKL hardshell case. I would also be willing to possibly trade for a decent mandolin of the same value and I am also interested in electric guitars. Let me know if you have something to trade.

The pickup on the Texas Toe Tapper is entirely passive, so there is no dead batteries to worry about or "wall warts" to trip over during a live performance!

One average stomp produces about -7 dB of gain, which is about the same as an electric or bass guitar, so this means it is suitable for direct input into a bass amp or other hi-Z unit, but might need a preamp or a DI to boost it's signal into a lo-Z mixing board.
