Ideal for solo guitarists, banjoist, mandolinists (sitting or standing), keyboardists and percussionists wanting to add another element to their overall sound.
Stomp boxes have become popular with multi-instrumentalists such as John Butler Trio, Terry Allan Hall, Luka Bloom, John Lee Hooker (possibly the first to use one back in the 40’s), Chris Smithers, and many others.
Designed to be plugged into a bass amp, active subwoofer or PA, the Texas Toe Tapper has an amazing range of usable sounds. With a little EQ tweaking the sound can be sculptured to your taste.
The pickup on the Texas Toe Tapper is entirely passive, so there is no dead batteries to worry about or "wall warts" to trip over during a live performance!
One average stomp produces about -7 dB of gain, which is about the same as an electric or bass guitar, so this means it is suitable for direct input into a bass amp or other hi-Z unit, but might need a preamp or a DI to boost it's signal into a lo-Z mixing board. The output jack is a mono 1/4" (guitar) output, and is unbalanced.
Your Texas Toe Tapper was lovingly assembled right here in Texas and while I usually paint them light grey (shows less dust from your shoes), you can order them in any color at no extra charge!
8 1/2" x 6 1/2" x 1 1/2"
Here's what some satified customers have to say about their Texas Toe Tappers:

The Doc Fossey guitar is an innovative instrument designed for five string banjo players. It allows the five string banjo player to employ the finger picking style of play into other genres of music beyond bluegrass, such as folk, rock, classical, and many more. The Doc Fossey guitar is a handmade, solid hard wood instrument composed of an Engelmann spruce soundboard, Indian rosewood back and sides, and a sapele (mahogany) neck. It contains sapele binding, abalone trim with a traditional banjo style abalone fret inlay, Gotoh® gold tuners with pearloid buttons, and a high-gloss finish.
If you play the five string banjo, or simply collect beautiful guitars, you need to see and play the Doc Fossey guitar.
The Doc Fossey Company originated nearly three years ago. Dr. Bruce Fossey is a banjo player and has enjoyed playing bluegrass music for many years. Dustin Fossey, “Doc Fossey’s” son, also plays the banjo, but has focused primarily on playing the acoustic guitar.
After years of playing bluegrass music on the banjo with Dustin, Doc Fossey decided that he needed an instrument that would employ the banjo’s style of play in a more mellow tone that better blended with the other types of music he enjoyed and wanted to play. The Doc Fossey guitar was born. After talking to other banjo players, we learned a demand for such an instrument exists and therefore went into production. This instrument is for banjo players looking to broaden their spectrum of sound and style.
Rare beautiful 1969 vintage Yamaha FG-260 12 string guitar. This one has the Japanese label inside which were made in the 60's - early 70's are are much more rare and valuable. All solid wood construction - solid spruce top, solid African mahagony back and sides. Dreadnaught size body. A rare find in MINT CONDITION.
No case.$375 firm.
This listing is for an early 1930s Hager "Artist" archtop guitar, in excellent playing condition. This has been my baby for a long time, but I'm forced to sell it to keep the lights on. The deep maple body and solid spruce top gives it a bigger-than-normal volume and punch than most other archtops I've played, and the neck is slimmer than most of the Kay/Silvertone/Regal instruments.
The body is 4.75" arched front to arched back, 11.25" across the upper bout, 15.25" across the lower, and the maple sides are 4". It has a sunburst finish on the 14-fret neck and spruce top with segmented f-holes- dark finish on the sides and back. There are the usual nicks and scratches you would expect on an eighty-year-old instrument, but nothing major (please view the enlarged photos). There are some repaired and cleated cracks on the front that appear to be very old. They're not pretty, but they've always been stable. The celluloid binding is in excellent condition all around, and the Ivoroid grained tuners work very well. The nut is 1.75" and the (25" scale) maple neck has a slight relief, but the action is nice and easy all the way up- no buzzing or fretting out. "SLINGERLAND / CHICAGO / USA" is stamped on the trapeze tailpiece.
I'm fairly certain I still have the case this came in, but it's pretty ratty, and will almost double the cost of shipping. If you want it shipped with the guitar, let me know. As notoriously inaccurate as the shipping calculator is, if I overcharge on shipping, I will immediately let you know and issue a refund for the excess.
I've been using one of my Organic Bridges on it, but the chunky original bridge (see photo) sounds pretty good, too. For an extra $20., I'll make a new compensated organic bridge to your specifications. Contact me after the sale and we can discuss the details.
Please check out my other listings.
2008 Bobby Wolfe Squareneck, solid walnut construction in excellent/mint condition, slothead/ Grover tuners. Comes with TKL archtop case. Entire package like new.
This is a near new Gibson A9 in great condition. Sound is great, condition great -- a good looker and a thrill to play. No physical flaws with the exception of slight wear on a soundhole (see picture). Selling because I can only have so many instruments and I need a new guitar. It was a hard decision to make -- I like this instrument.
Martin d-35 guitar. this thing booms!! Ill get pics up soon on it...really nice shape with molded martin plastic case.
I would consider a trade for a Brooks silverspun banjer... 11.5 inch or a 12 incher

This is an excellent 60's Hummingbird reissue guitar built June 18, 1998. It comes with OHS case and Gibson dehumidifier. Great guitar, but I just added a D-35 to my collection and the Gibson isn't seeing much playing time. There is one finish ding about two inches below the bridge. Overall not bad for a guitar that is fourteen years old. Comes with the original packing checklist, registration pamphlet and owner's pamphlet from Gibson.
Johnson bell brass resonator circa 2002 in excellent condition; no damage of any kind (chips, scratches, dents, etc.); rosewood neck & fretboard; Gotoh tuners; fat retro old-school "Martin" esque feeling neck; great playability and records very well too; comes with a like new SKB hard shell case also; Nice reso that was rarely used and in excellent condition. I also will include a new glass slide.
The brown fiddle is a old Czech Violin by Pekelsky, the red fiddle was the US in 1944 by Ray Brady. You are welcome to make an offer on either or both. $1200 each or best offer

Assorted Dulcimer(retail value on books alone was $118.55) books with Capo and picks included. Cleaning out. See photo. Need individual picture let me know. All books in excellent condition. Very nice Capo but can't remember maker and it's not marked.
$70.00 obo shipping included
Barely used Michael Kelly F style, acoustic/electric, mandolin. Includes MK molded case. This instrument has been rarely played as my arthritic fingers had trouble with the small frets. This mandolin does have a pick up. The model is LFS-E. I paid $700, but will take $550. I joined a band and need the money for an electric guitar.
1964 gibson j 200 with tun-a-matic bridge-no fret wear-nice guitar-call dan 716-386-6744
This is a 1967 Martin D-21 in extremely fine condition. I believe I am the 3rd owner of this guitar. Brazilian rosewood back and sides; rosewood fingerboard(not sure if it's brazilian or not); not certain, but because of the wide grain I believe the top could be Adirondak; original Grover tuners. The D-21 with its simpler bindings, is less adorned than a D-28. I had work done on the neck in March, 2010, by Pace Guitar Repair, Houston, Tx. Pace is an authorized Martin repair center. A copy of the work order will be provided to those interested. Basically the work performed was as follows: refret fingerboard; replaced original pickguard with Martin tortise; new bone nut and saddle. At the time, Mr. Pace did not recommend a neck reset. This guitar plays like butter and has a sound that you would expect from a 45 year old Martin. The hardshell case appears to be a Martin from that era, but I'm not 100% sure. Case is in decent/fair shape; catches work fine with the exception of the locking catch. You won't find a cleaner Martin D-21. The pictures show glare from the camera flash. There are only a couple of small nicks on the top and one significant ding (outlined in white in the pic) that is noticeable. No cracks, no crack repairs; doesn't even have the infamous pickguard crack found on old Martins. Very nice instrument that needs a new home. Price includes shipping to the lower 48 states only.
I really, really want a Bart Reiter banjo. This guitar is mint because I never played it. I bought it new and it has been in its case. I guess there is about one hour of play on it. There is nothing wrong with it and nothing to dislike. I just don't want to play guitar and I would love another banjo. It is a beautiful guitar and I hope someone would love to get it. I have good feedback and I hope someone would love to have a fine instrument as this.
Very nice Gibson UB3 banjo uke. Neck in excellent condition. Pot was rebuilt and refinished by an excellent luthier. It has a close fit resonator with ring on back (no flange). New skin head. Nice patina overall. Great tone and volume and an easy player. I have played this uke in a number of local gigs. Pictures available on request. Old and functional semi-hard case. $950/ offer. Please no out of country sales.
This is a sweet guitar. I will post pics later. There's only a few nicks in the finish, not in the wood. There is no cracks anywhere on this guitar. Since I have owned it, I have had bone pins, a custom bone saddle, and bone nut professionally inserted. I am including a practically brand-new harshell Breedlove locking case with this guitar. So you will not receive the OHSC. I will ship this via UPS with insurance and tracking, which I'm estimating to be around $75 at the most. You will be very pleased with this guitar, especially for the price.
Made in Canada, a quality guitar that plays great with a fast comfortable neck and great sound. This is what they say about it:
The Godin 5th Avenue brings you back to a time when the archtop acoustic guitar reigned supreme. With the soul of a 1950's archtop, the 5th Avenue is a true vintage spirit of yesterday with today's level of modern playability. With more projection & volume in the low/mids than traditional archtop acoustic guitars, the dynamically rich tone of the 5th Avenue makes this sophisticated instrument a dream to play. Made in Canada from Canadian Wild Cherry, the body of the 5th Avenue features a molded arched top and back, as well as an adjustable bridge, classic f-holes, contoured high-gloss headstock, floating pickguard and cream binding.
