Ideal for solo guitarists, banjoist, mandolinists (sitting or standing), keyboardists and percussionists wanting to add another element to their overall sound.
Stomp boxes have become popular with multi-instrumentalists such as John Butler Trio, Terry Allan Hall, Luka Bloom, John Lee Hooker (possibly the first to use one back in the 40’s), Chris Smithers, and many others.
Designed to be plugged into a bass amp, active subwoofer or PA, the Texas Toe Tapper has an amazing range of usable sounds. With a little EQ tweaking the sound can be sculptured to your taste.
The pickup on the Texas Toe Tapper is entirely passive, so there is no dead batteries to worry about or "wall warts" to trip over during a live performance!
One average stomp produces about -7 dB of gain, which is about the same as an electric or bass guitar, so this means it is suitable for direct input into a bass amp or other hi-Z unit, but might need a preamp or a DI to boost it's signal into a lo-Z mixing board. The output jack is a mono 1/4" (guitar) output, and is unbalanced.
Your Texas Toe Tapper was lovingly assembled right here in Texas and while I usually paint them light grey (shows less dust from your shoes), you can order them in any color at no extra charge!
8 1/2" x 6 1/2" x 1 1/2"

Johnson Metal Body Reso Guitar W/ Custom Round Neck
I bought this reso guitar from Elderly. It had a broken peg head. I replaced the neck using a neck blank from Bryan England's Custom Inlay Shop. The neck is maple with a walnut layer up the middle.
Finger board and peg head are rosewood. I did all the inlays and binding.
It has the original Johnson cone and biscuit bridge. It might benefit from replacing the cone and bridge, but it sounds good the way it is for slide and finger style picking.
The finger board is flat.
Grover Sta-Tite tuners
Price does not include a case. I don't have a case that fits it. It is about a 00 size body. For $45 extra, I will ship it in an older Alvarez case that is sized for a 000/OM size body.
5 day approval period. If you hate it, I will take it back. You pay shipping both ways if you return it.

Up for trade is a 2011 Martin HD28V. I purchased this guitar in May 2011 with hopes of learning to play but I really only have time to concentrate on my banjo playing. This is a beautiful guitar with virtually no playing time (there are no pick marks on the pick guard if that tells you anything) that has been case kept and upgraded with genuine Martin gold butterbean tuners and fossilized walrus bridge pins, end pin and strap pin. These pins are gorgeous with abalone dot inlays. I still have all the original pins and tuners that I would include with the trade. Comes with Martin Geib style case.
I'm looking to trade for a Gibson banjo in similar condition. Will consider other banjos (Huber Truetone, Deering, Stelling, Hatfield, Cox, etc.) if the offer is right.
Select one or more vintage Mossmans from my collection. Have gathered these gals over 35 years; 13 in all. Prices range from $1850 to $4500. Let me know your interests and I can provide details, price and photos. Fair offers considered. No shipping or remote payments; will consider delivering in CA, AZ, NV and southern OR.
Cremona SB-1 Bass for sale. Purchased about 4 years ago, hardly played. Looking to get $400 or best offer.
All original, excellent condition (certified by Gruhn Guitars) 1946 Martin 000-18 guitar! Originally priced at $14,000...now available
for $6,995......
The Doc Fossey guitar is an innovative instrument designed for five string banjo players. It allows the five string banjo player to employ the finger picking style of play into other genres of music beyond bluegrass, such as folk, rock, classical, and many more. The Doc Fossey guitar is a handmade, solid hard wood instrument composed of an Engelmann spruce soundboard, Indian rosewood back and sides, and a sapele (mahogany) neck. It contains sapele binding, abalone trim with a traditional banjo style abalone fret inlay, Gotoh® gold tuners with pearloid buttons, and a high-gloss finish.
If you play the five string banjo, or simply collect beautiful guitars, you need to see and play the Doc Fossey guitar.
The Doc Fossey Company originated nearly three years ago. Dr. Bruce Fossey is a banjo player and has enjoyed playing bluegrass music for many years. Dustin Fossey, “Doc Fossey’s” son, also plays the banjo, but has focused primarily on playing the acoustic guitar.
After years of playing bluegrass music on the banjo with Dustin, Doc Fossey decided that he needed an instrument that would employ the banjo’s style of play in a more mellow tone that better blended with the other types of music he enjoyed and wanted to play. The Doc Fossey guitar was born. After talking to other banjo players, we learned a demand for such an instrument exists and therefore went into production. This instrument is for banjo players looking to broaden their spectrum of sound and style.
Basically brand new Martin D-28. I bought this around 6 months ago just to have a good bluegrass guitar handy and find that I just don't play it enough to justify keeping it. It is in like new condition with very little play time on it at all. It comes with the original case. Looking to sell it, but might consider a trade for a Gibson banjo.
Thanks for looking!

Rare beautiful 1969 vintage Yamaha FG-260 12 string guitar. This one has the Japanese label inside which were made in the 60's - early 70's are are much more rare and valuable. All solid wood construction - solid spruce top, solid African mahagony back and sides. Dreadnaught size body. A rare find in MINT CONDITION.
No case.$375 firm.
F5 Mandolin made in 1934 by Joe Wilson. Earliest known F5 besides Gibson. Plays and sounds great, great condition with original hard case.
This listing is for an early 1930s Hager "Artist" archtop guitar, in excellent playing condition. This has been my baby for a long time, but I'm forced to sell it to keep the lights on. The deep maple body and solid spruce top gives it a bigger-than-normal volume and punch than most other archtops I've played, and the neck is slimmer than most of the Kay/Silvertone/Regal instruments.
The body is 4.75" arched front to arched back, 11.25" across the upper bout, 15.25" across the lower, and the maple sides are 4". It has a sunburst finish on the 14-fret neck and spruce top with segmented f-holes- dark finish on the sides and back. There are the usual nicks and scratches you would expect on an eighty-year-old instrument, but nothing major (please view the enlarged photos). There are some repaired and cleated cracks on the front that appear to be very old. They're not pretty, but they've always been stable. The celluloid binding is in excellent condition all around, and the Ivoroid grained tuners work very well. The nut is 1.75" and the (25" scale) maple neck has a slight relief, but the action is nice and easy all the way up- no buzzing or fretting out. "SLINGERLAND / CHICAGO / USA" is stamped on the trapeze tailpiece.
I'm fairly certain I still have the case this came in, but it's pretty ratty, and will almost double the cost of shipping. If you want it shipped with the guitar, let me know. As notoriously inaccurate as the shipping calculator is, if I overcharge on shipping, I will immediately let you know and issue a refund for the excess.
I've been using one of my Organic Bridges on it, but the chunky original bridge (see photo) sounds pretty good, too. For an extra $20., I'll make a new compensated organic bridge to your specifications. Contact me after the sale and we can discuss the details.
Please check out my other listings.
Collings guitars are top of the line guitars. This one listed for $3350 new. It has the Sitka spruce top. This guitar was well taken care of. No cracks or dents, just normal wear on the frets under the second string from 1 to 7. I don't play guitar very much any more, so I don't want a good guitar like this to sit in the case. If I did play more, I prefer this guitar over the Martin D18 I had and sold for the same reason. I recieved this guitar on a banjo trade, so I don't want to trade, need cash to pay off a debt. This is an extremely good price on this guitar. Thanks.
This ngoni (nn-GO-nee) version, known as kamel ngoni (or kamalen ngoni), is part of the family of hunters lute-harps of the Mande people in West Africa. The kamel ngoni is similar to the kora in that it has a calabash gourd body, hand posts, notched bridge, and neck, but only has 8 strings. The instrument is played facing the musician with one or two hands on the hand posts, with fingers and thumbs plucking the open strings. This kamal ngoni was built by Karim Koubassa, Master Instrument Builder, from Guinea, West Africa , who now resides in Seattle WA.
I am asking for $450 or best offer for local pickup or add $80.00 shipping with insurance.
Details:
• Thick calabash gourd body, 13 in diameter with bass hole
• Goat skin stretched tight and fixed to gourd with decorative tacks
• Hardwood hand posts, bridge, and bridge supports and pad

Hey Everyone,
I have a 70's Martin Sigma guitar that I would like to trade for a Deering goodtime banjo or something similar (preferably open back.) The guitar is in good condition, I replaced the tuners. It's a mahogany dreadnaught style guitar. It sounds nice, but I just don't really need a guitar. I'll post photos when I get a chance.
thanks,
-Gabe
